Three new rest shelters have been installed along frequently used hiking trails in the Tatra Mountains in northern Slovakia. The structures are intended to provide hikers with covered resting spots during ascents along the routes. The Tatras, a major mountain range on the Slovak-Polish border, are one of Slovakia's most visited natural attractions and draw hundreds of thousands of hikers and tourists each year.
