Italian President Sergio Mattarella appointed a new tourism minister, replacing the previous officeholder. The newly appointed minister, Mazzi, previously served as state secretary at Italy's Ministry of Culture. Like his predecessor Santanchová, Mazzi is a member of the Brothers of Italy party, the ruling party led by Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. The appointment maintains continuity within the governing coalition's control over the tourism portfolio.
