Slovak National Theatre presents Slovak premiere of Korngold's 'The Dead City'

The Slovak National Theatre Opera is staging the Slovak premiere of Erich Wolfgang Korngold's opera 'The Dead City'. The opera originally premiered simultaneously on December 4, 1920, in Hamburg and Cologne, marking a significant moment in early 20th-century opera history. The Slovak National Theatre, the country's premier cultural institution, is now bringing this work by the Austrian-Hungarian composer to Slovak audiences for the first time.
