Lost Hiker Airlifted from Slavkovský Peak in High Tatras

A female hiker had to be rescued by helicopter after losing her way while descending from Slavkovský Peak, a mountain summit in the High Tatras range in northern Slovakia. The woman strayed from the marked hiking trail and was unable to find her way back, prompting a rescue operation. Mountain rescue services dispatched a helicopter to locate and airlift her to safety.
