Activation Workers Continue Maintenance Support in Handlová

The Slovak town of Handlová continued to employ activation workers for municipal maintenance tasks throughout the past year. According to Ľudmila Hegliová, the coordinator of activation workers, an average of 21 workers were deployed in the field during the first half of 2025, with six of them assigned to municipal organizations due to health reasons. The activation worker program provides employment opportunities for unemployed individuals while supporting local infrastructure maintenance in Slovak municipalities.
