Bratislava Region Reports 32 Cases of Hepatitis A Since Start of Year

Health authorities in the Bratislava region recorded seven new cases of hepatitis A during the ninth week of 2024. Since the beginning of the year through Thursday, hygienists have documented a total of 32 cases of hepatitis A in the region surrounding Slovakia's capital. The Bratislava region encompasses the capital city and surrounding districts in western Slovakia, where the Regional Public Health Authority monitors infectious disease outbreaks and implements preventive measures.
