A driver has been charged with a criminal offense after police found him operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol level exceeding 2.1 promille while driving erratically between lanes and into oncoming traffic. The suspect faces up to one year in prison if convicted. In Slovakia, the legal blood alcohol limit for drivers is zero tolerance, with levels above 1.0 promille constituting a criminal offense rather than just a traffic violation.
