St. Elizabeth Cathedral, the Gothic landmark in Slovakia's second-largest city of Košice, will be bathed in purple light on Tuesday as part of a campaign to show support for people living with serious medical diagnoses. The illumination of the 14th-century cathedral, which is the largest church in Slovakia and one of the most recognizable symbols of eastern Slovakia, represents a gesture of solidarity with patients and their families facing challenging health conditions.
