Russian Air Travel Options Fall Below Soviet-Era Levels Due to International Sanctions

Russian citizens now have access to significantly fewer international flight destinations than during the Soviet Union era, according to the Russian travel industry association ATOR. The association reported that current aviation options are approximately three times worse than what was available during the Cold War period under the Soviet system.
