High Tatras Municipal Councilor and Mountaineering Legend Juraj Husovský Dies at 73

Juraj Husovský, a municipal councilor for Vysoké Tatry and renowned figure in Slovakia's Tatra Mountains region, has died at the age of 73. Husovský also served as deputy mayor of the mountain municipality. Known as a Tatra Mountains legend, he was a prominent local figure in the High Tatras region, Slovakia's premier mountain destination and national park area located along the country's northern border with Poland.
