Government representative Hrabko defended the administration's approach, noting that opposition parties consistently demand immediate action on fuel price increases. He pointed out that similar criticism was leveled by Róbert Fico, leader of the opposition Smer-SD party, when his party was previously out of power, suggesting this type of political pressure is routine when fuel costs rise.
