Slovakia to Support Irish EU Council Presidency Priorities

Slovakia's Foreign Ministry announced it will support the key priorities of Ireland's upcoming presidency of the Council of the European Union. Deputy Foreign Minister Ingrid Vozáryová identified cohesion policy and the Common Agricultural Policy as Slovakia's crucial priorities during the Irish presidency. The Council of the EU presidency rotates among member states every six months, with the presiding country setting the agenda for EU legislative and policy discussions.
