Slovakia's New Electronic School Application System Crashes During Key Admissions Period
Share:
Slovakia's new electronic application system for secondary schools collapsed during a critical period when parents were trying to access results from talent-based entrance exams. The ePrihlášky (eApplications) system blocked access to talent exam results at the moment families needed them most. Education sector critics, including calls from politician Horecký, are demanding the cancellation of the automated system, arguing it reduces transparency in the school admissions process. The system failure has left parents unable to find out whether their children passed specialized entrance exams for secondary schools, creating uncertainty during the crucial application period for the upcoming academic year.
