Former UEFA president Michel Platini has filed a new criminal complaint against current FIFA president Gianni Infantino, according to Platini's spokesperson. Platini's lawyers will also file a civil lawsuit seeking compensation from FIFA, the world football governing body. The development represents an escalation in the ongoing legal dispute between the two football officials. Platini, who previously served as UEFA president from 2007 to 2015, was banned from football activities along with former FIFA president Sepp Blatter in 2015 over ethics violations, though both have maintained their innocence and continued to challenge various aspects of their cases through legal channels.
