B9 Summit Condemns Russian Confrontational Activities and Calls for Defense

Leaders at the B9 Summit jointly condemned Russia's aggressive war against Ukraine and reaffirmed their support for Ukraine's independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders. The summit participants also condemned Russia's confrontational activities and called for enhanced defense measures. The B9 format brings together nine Central and Eastern European NATO and EU member states, including Slovakia, to coordinate regional security and defense policies in response to evolving threats in the region.
