Highway maintenance work underway as drivers frequently ignore traffic restrictions

Highway maintenance and repair operations are currently taking place across Slovakia's motorway network, with the national highway company urging drivers to exercise greater caution and consideration. Motorists are frequently disregarding traffic restrictions put in place to protect construction workers and ensure safe passage through work zones. The National Motorway Company, which manages Slovakia's highway infrastructure, has called on drivers to respect temporary speed limits, lane closures, and other safety measures during ongoing maintenance activities.
