Highway Authority Begins Bridge Repairs on D1 Motorway Near Predmier

Slovakia's National Motorway Company (NDS) has commenced repair work on a bridge along the D1 motorway near the village of Predmier. The state-owned company, which manages the country's highway network, is asking drivers to exercise increased caution when traveling through this section of the major east-west highway that connects Bratislava to eastern Slovakia. Motorists are being urged to respect temporary traffic signs that have been installed to manage traffic flow during the construction period.
