North Korea is becoming increasingly capable of producing nuclear weapons, with the International Atomic Energy Agency warning of a rapid increase in activity at the Yongbyon reactor complex. The IAEA's assessment highlights growing concerns about North Korea's advancing nuclear program and its ability to expand its weapons arsenal. The Yongbyon facility, North Korea's main nuclear complex, has been central to the country's nuclear weapons development since the 1980s and houses reactors capable of producing plutonium for nuclear weapons.
