Antonelli Wins Monaco Grand Prix After Rejecting Advice from Verstappen and Hamilton

Share:

Nineteen-year-old Kimi Antonelli won the Monaco Grand Prix, becoming the youngest leader in Formula 1 championship standings history. The Italian driver successfully navigated the pressure and chaos of the prestigious street circuit while ignoring advice from veteran drivers Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton. Antonelli has now won four of the season's six races, taking victories in Shanghai, Suzuka, Miami, and Montreal, while Mercedes teammate George Russell won the season opener in Australia. Russell had been considered the pre-season favorite for the championship title, but Antonelli's remarkable run has established him as the current points leader in what appears to be a dominant season for the Mercedes team.
