Drug Dealer and Girlfriend Sentenced After Failed Appeals

A Slovak court has upheld prison sentences for a drug dealer and his girlfriend following unsuccessful appeals of their convictions. The man was sentenced for a felony drug trafficking offense, while his girlfriend received a lesser sentence for a misdemeanor. Court documents revealed that the dealer had been providing drugs to his girlfriend in exchange for services, in addition to his broader drug distribution activities. The appeals court rejected both defendants' attempts to overturn or reduce their sentences, meaning they will now serve their prison terms as originally imposed by the lower court.
