Slovak environmental police have launched a criminal investigation after a small dog was shot in the Rača district of Bratislava. The victim, a Biewer Yorkshire terrier, was shot while being walked by its owner. Environmental police — a specialized unit within Slovak law enforcement responsible for investigating crimes against animals and nature — opened criminal proceedings and are searching for the unknown perpetrator.
