Slovakia Backs Accelerated Implementation of UN 2030 Agenda and UN Reform
Share:
Slovak Foreign Minister Juraj Blanár has expressed Slovakia's support for accelerating the implementation of the United Nations' Agenda 2030 — the global framework of Sustainable Development Goals aimed at addressing poverty, inequality, and climate change by the year 2030 — as well as broader reform of the UN itself. Blanár identified the thoughtful and responsible use of new technologies, including artificial intelligence, as a key opportunity to speed up progress toward these international development targets. Slovakia, as a UN member state, reaffirmed its commitment to the multilateral process at a time when global progress on the 2030 goals has been widely seen as lagging behind schedule.
