Over 200 Volunteers Clean Banks of Ružín Reservoir and Hnilec River Tributary

More than 200 volunteers participated in a cleanup effort along the banks of the Ružín reservoir and tributaries of the Hnilec River in eastern Slovakia. The volunteer activity was organized by the Volunteer Center of the Košice Region with support from the Košice Self-Governing Region as part of International Volunteer Week. The initiative aimed to create cleaner riverbanks, safer natural environments, and foster cooperation across generations. The cleanup represents part of broader environmental volunteer efforts in the Košice region, Slovakia's second-largest city and administrative center of eastern Slovakia.
