Ukrainian Military Leadership Changes Amid Supply Failures and Territorial Losses

Share:

Ukrainian military commanders have been dismissed following supply failures that left soldiers malnourished and led to the loss of strategic positions near Kupiansk. The 14th Brigade lost control of areas around the Oskil River after troops failed to receive adequate food supplies, with unit leadership allegedly concealing the deteriorating conditions from higher command. A separate corps commander was also removed after losing the town of Siversk to Russian forces. Meanwhile, Ukrainian drone attacks targeted Russian naval vessels in Crimea, with unconfirmed reports circulating online claiming the ships were destroyed, though evidence remains lacking. The strikes also damaged more than half of the fuel storage facilities in the Russian port city of Tuapse.
