Acute Respiratory Illness Cases Drop in Banská Bystrica Region

The incidence of acute respiratory illnesses has declined in the Banská Bystrica region of central Slovakia. According to the regional public health officer, no educational institutions in the Banská Bystrica Self-Governing Region have reported interruptions to their educational activities due to respiratory illness outbreaks. The Banská Bystrica Self-Governing Region is one of Slovakia's eight regional administrative units, responsible for coordinating public health monitoring and educational oversight in central Slovakia including the regional capital of Banská Bystrica.
