Slovak mining company spends over 14 million euros in state aid on mine closures

Hornonitrianske bane, a Slovak mining company, has spent more than 14 million euros in state subsidies on closing down mining operations. The extensive closure work was carried out at facilities in Handlová and Nováky, two towns in the Trenčín region of western Slovakia.
