Police discover drunk driver with nearly 3.0 blood alcohol during highway toll inspection

Slovak police conducting checks on electronic highway toll compliance discovered a driver with a blood alcohol level of nearly 2.9 promille, more than five times the legal limit. The driver was detained in a police cell and faces criminal charges. The incident occurred during routine inspections of electronic highway vignettes, the digital toll system required for using Slovakia's highway network.
