Patient advocacy groups launch manifesto calling for greater involvement in healthcare decisions

A platform of patient advocacy organizations has unveiled a Patient Manifesto aimed at strengthening the role of patients in Slovakia's healthcare decision-making processes. The manifesto identifies a fundamental problem in the current system where patient voices are present only formally and lack real influence on final healthcare decisions. The document presents concrete solutions for meaningful patient participation in policy and treatment decisions that affect them.
