Nitra Region Approves Grants for Development of Saints Cyril and Methodius Route

The Nitra Region has announced grants to support development of the Saints Cyril and Methodius Route through its subsidy program. The funding is designated primarily for organizing significant experiential events along the route, including festivals, celebrations, and religious pilgrimages. The Saints Cyril and Methodius Route is a cultural and religious tourism trail commemorating the 9th-century Byzantine missionaries who brought Christianity and the written word to the Slavic peoples, making it an important heritage pathway in Slovakia.
