Russian Drone Attack Kills Two in Kharkiv as Israel Strikes Hezbollah Targets in Beirut

Share:

A Russian drone attack on the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv killed two people and wounded several others when an unmanned aircraft struck a civilian facility and sparked a large fire, according to regional governor Oleh Synehubov. Ukrainian air defenses successfully intercepted the majority of nearly 100 drones launched by Russian forces, but the remaining aircraft hit targets across six different locations in the country. Meanwhile, the Israeli military called on Beirut residents to evacuate before striking Hezbollah militant targets in the Lebanese capital. The coordinated attacks represent a continuation of the ongoing conflicts in both Ukraine and the Middle East, with civilian areas increasingly coming under fire in both theaters of war.
