Man Shoots at Couple with Air Rifle, Points Weapon at Man's Head in High Tatras Region

A man has been charged and detained after shooting at a couple with an air rifle and then pointing the weapon directly at the male victim's head in an incident in the High Tatras region of northern Slovakia. The accused is now in police custody and prosecutors have filed a motion for pretrial detention. The incident represents a serious case of assault with a weapon in one of Slovakia's most popular tourist and mountaineering areas.
