A Russian court sentenced four Tajik nationals to life imprisonment for the deadly attack on Crocus City Hall concert venue near Moscow. The court also handed down life sentences to eleven additional accomplices in the case. The March 2024 attack on the Moscow-area entertainment complex killed approximately 150 people when gunmen opened fire during a concert and set the building ablaze. The Islamic State claimed responsibility for the assault, which became one of the deadliest terrorist attacks in Russia in recent years. The defendants, who were arrested shortly after the attack, faced charges including terrorism and murder.
