Rail services between Bratislava and Vienna will face temporary disruptions from Monday, July 20 to Thursday, July 23, 2026. Slovak rail operator ZSSK (Železničná spoločnosť Slovensko, the national passenger rail company) has warned travelers that services on the cross-border route between Devínska Nová Ves, a district on Bratislava's western edge, and Marchegg on the Austrian side of the border will be restricted each day from 7:45 a.m. during the affected period. Passengers planning to travel between Slovakia's capital and the Austrian capital Vienna via this corridor during those days are advised to check updated timetables and make alternative arrangements where necessary.
