Moped rider hospitalized after collision while crossing pedestrian crossing

A moped rider was struck by a car and hospitalized after attempting to cross a pedestrian crossing on his vehicle in eastern Slovakia. Police determined that the moped operator was at fault in the incident. The collision occurred when the rider improperly used the pedestrian crossing, which is designated solely for foot traffic under Slovak traffic regulations.
