Slovakia's Penta financial group has refused to respond to questions from two major newspapers, Denník N and SME, regarding its healthcare operations. Tomáš Kráľ, spokesperson for Penta Hospitals, informed Denník N healthcare reporter Veronika Folentová that the company would not answer or respond to submitted questions, citing a lack of respect and journalistic standards as the reason. Folentová has been covering healthcare issues for 15 years. The refusal to engage with media questions comes as Penta, one of Slovakia's largest financial groups with significant investments in healthcare facilities, faces scrutiny over its healthcare sector operations.
