
Pezinok Warns Residents of Hepatitis A Outbreak, Urges Hygiene Precautions

The city of Pezinok has issued a public health warning about a current outbreak of viral hepatitis A, commonly known as infectious hepatitis or jaundice, in the area. Local authorities are urging residents to maintain strict hygiene practices to prevent the spread of the disease among the community. Pezinok, located in the Bratislava region about 20 kilometers northeast of the Slovak capital, is advising citizens to take protective measures to safeguard themselves and their families from the highly contagious liver infection, which spreads through contaminated food, water, or close contact with infected individuals.
