
Longtime Bratislava District Chief Ľudovít Kollárik Dies After Nearly 30 Years in Office

Ľudovít Kollárik, who led the local administration of Bratislava's Nové Mesto district for nearly 30 years, has died. The district office of Nové Mesto — one of the 17 administrative districts that make up the Slovak capital — announced his passing. Kollárik served as the district's chief administrator, a role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of local government services, for an exceptionally long tenure that spanned nearly three decades.
