Three Workers Die in German Leather Processing Plant Accident

Three people died and two others were seriously injured in an industrial accident at a leather processing plant in Runkel, Germany. The victims were found in a waste tank at the facility, while two other employees remain hospitalized fighting for their lives. Around 150 rescue workers responded to the scene. German authorities are investigating the incident and are currently working with the theory that the deaths may have been caused by carbon monoxide poisoning.
