Share:

Czech Foreign Minister Petr Macinka traveled to Budapest for meetings with senior Hungarian officials, including Anita Orbán, wife of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, and Márton Ádám Hajdu, the newly elected chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee of Hungary's National Assembly. Hajdu represents Tisza, a party in the Hungarian governing coalition. The meetings signal ongoing diplomatic engagement between the Czech Republic and Hungary, two Central European neighbors who are both members of the European Union and NATO.
