A fire broke out over the weekend at a swimming pool complex in Žiar nad Hronom, a town in central Slovakia, with no injuries reported. Nine firefighters from stations in Žiar nad Hronom and the nearby regional city of Banská Bystrica responded to the scene, deploying four fire service vehicles to bring the blaze under control.
