Mbappe Could Break Klose's World Cup Scoring Record, But Prioritizes Title Over Goals

Real Madrid striker Kylian Mbappe has scored 12 goals in World Cup tournaments to date, leaving him four goals short of German striker Miroslav Klose's all-time record of 16 World Cup goals. However, the French forward has indicated that winning the tournament title is more important to him than breaking the individual scoring record. Klose set his record across four World Cup tournaments between 2002 and 2014, helping Germany win the 2014 tournament in Brazil.
