The Piešťany-based firm Kios, despite having a substantial business history, was unable to avoid financial collapse. The bankruptcy highlights concerns about the financial stability of contractors handling significant public service operations, particularly given the contrast between the company's reportedly valuable postal contracts and its minimal remaining assets.
