Mothers donate nearly 86 liters of breast milk to eastern Slovakia maternity ward

Forty-one mothers donated breast milk to help premature babies at Penta Hospitals Humenné in eastern Slovakia during 2024, providing a total of 85.8 liters of processed milk. The donations represent a slight increase from 2023, when 37 mothers contributed 84 liters of breast milk to the facility. The donated milk serves as a crucial resource for premature infants who require specialized nutrition during their early development in the hospital's neonatal unit.
