Former Slovak Finance Minister Critiques Trump's Foreign Policy Record

Ivan Mikloš, Slovakia's former finance minister, has published a critical analysis arguing that Donald Trump achieved the opposite of his stated foreign policy goals during his presidency. According to Mikloš, Trump weakened rather than strengthened America's global position, failed to resolve the war in Ukraine despite promising to end it within 24 hours, and inadvertently strengthened China's influence in world politics and economics instead of reducing it. The former minister attributes these failures to what he describes as Trump's dilettante approach and ignorance of international affairs, arguing that the former president built his policies on prejudices that ignored fundamental realities of global politics.
