The restoration of Krásna Hôrka Castle is experiencing significant delays due to ongoing legal disputes and construction defects, according to a government report. Culture Minister Martina Šimkovičová is presenting the government with documentation describing cancelled contracts and incomplete construction work. Officials are currently waiting for a new contractor to be selected and for a clear timeline to be established for completing the renovation project. The historic castle, which suffered extensive fire damage in 2012, has faced repeated setbacks in its restoration efforts, highlighting ongoing challenges in preserving Slovakia's cultural heritage sites.
